Fourteen products on our shelves carry the word Ultivite. Standing next to each other they look almost identical. The front of the box separates them with two or three words, and those words are the whole difference.
Get them wrong on a reorder and you have bought a different formula, for a different age band, in a different format. So we read all fourteen names, put the prices beside them, and worked out what the differences actually cost.

What does Ultivite mean on a Swisse box?
Ultivite is the multivitamin range. Where the Ultiboost range gives you one nutrient at a time, an Ultivite product is a multi-ingredient formula in a single tablet or capsule.
The word tells you the kind of product. It does not tell you which one you want, and that is the job of everything printed after it.
Read an Ultivite name as two decisions rather than one long string. The first part is the audience: men's, women's, teenage, vegan, children's, and an age band if there is one. The last part is the pack: how many, and in what form. People read the first part carefully and skim the second, which is exactly backwards for a reorder.

Who is each Ultivite version built for?
The audience is in the clear on the front. Six versions cover the fourteen products, and the pattern repeats for men and for women.

Two Ultivite products can share most of an ingredient list and still differ in the amounts. That is the point of splitting them, and it is why moving from one to another is a real change rather than a substitution.
One oddity worth knowing: the word order is not fixed. We stock both "Swisse Ultivite Men's 50+ Multivitamin" and "Swisse Men's Ultivite 50+", which are the same range in a different arrangement. If a search for one comes up short, try the other.
What does each one cost per tablet?
This is the number the box does not print, and it moves more than the shelf price suggests. We divided price by count across the fourteen, using our Malaysia store on 18 September 2026.

Read down the right-hand column rather than across. The spread from top to bottom is more than four times, and most of it is pack size rather than formula.
Prices differ by country, so check your own store's page rather than these figures. What carries across the four stores we run is the shape: the step from 60 to 90 or 120 is small in money and large in tablets.
Is the bigger Ultivite pack better value?
Usually, and by more than people expect. In our Malaysia store the 90-tablet Women's 50+ is RM 189.00 and the 60-tablet is RM 183.00. That is RM 2.10 against RM 3.05 per tablet, so the bigger box is 31% cheaper per tablet for the same formula.
The men's 50+ runs the same way: RM 185.00 for 90 tablets against RM 183.00 for 60, which is 33% less per tablet.
We ran the same division in all four of our stores, and the saving held everywhere on the 50+ pair, between 15% and 33%. It did not hold everywhere on the standard pair, which we wrote up in does the bigger pack cost less. Ten seconds of arithmetic beats the assumption.
Do all Ultivite products come as tablets?
No, and this is the one that catches people on a reorder. Two of the fourteen are capsules, and the name gives no warning until the last word.
Swisse Ultivite Men's Multivitamin comes as 120 capsules and as 60 tablets. Swisse Ultivite Women's Multivitamin does the same. Same brand, same range, same audience word, different thing in your hand.
It matters at the till as well as in your hand: the 120-capsule pack and the 60-tablet pack are priced as two different products, so the per-unit figures are not comparing like with like. Read the last word of the name before you reorder.
What is actually inside an Ultivite formula?
Each product lists its own ingredients on its own page. We publish those lines with the public source each one came from rather than describing them in our own words, and nothing on a product page says what a product will do for you.
Swisse is an Australian brand, so what has to appear on the pack, and where, is set by Australia's medicines regulator rather than by the brand (the TGA on what is on a medicine label). A product listed on Australia's register also carries a unique AUST L number (the TGA on AUST numbers).

It is the faster route when you already know the thing you are looking for and not the product it lives in.
How do I pick one without reading all fourteen?
Three questions in order, and the shelf collapses fast.
- Who is it for? That picks men's, women's, teenage or children's.
- Which age band? That picks standard, 50+ or 65+.
- Any dietary requirement? That picks vegan, or rules the two capsule versions in or out.
Then one last look at the end of the name for the count and the format, which is where the money and the surprise both sit.

Questions people ask
What is the difference between Swisse Ultivite and Ultiboost?
Ultivite is the multivitamin range and Ultiboost is the single-nutrient range. An Ultivite product is one formula covering a spread of nutrients. An Ultiboost product is built around one named thing, and the rest of its name says which.
Is Swisse Ultivite Men's the same as Women's?
No. They are separate formulas built for different audiences, and one word on the front is all that separates them. Two Ultivite products can share most of an ingredient list and still differ in the amounts of what is in it.
Which Swisse Ultivite comes in capsules?
Two of the fourteen: Ultivite Men's Multivitamin 120 Capsules and Ultivite Women's Multivitamin 120 Capsules. Every other Ultivite we stock is a tablet. The format word sits at the very end of the name, after the count.
Does Swisse make a vegan multivitamin?
Yes. Ultivite Vegan Men's and Ultivite Vegan Women's, both 60 tablets, and both the cheapest adult Ultivite per tablet in our Malaysia store at RM 1.73. Vegan sits in the same slot in the name as 50+ and Teenage.
Is the 120-pack always cheaper per tablet?
Not always. It usually is, and on the 50+ products the bigger box is about a third cheaper per tablet. We also found a store where the bigger pack costs more per unit, so it is worth doing the division rather than assuming.
